1. Biometric verification engine
Every comparison is scored by an accredited third-party biometric signature-verification engine (Parascript SignatureXpert, Neurotechnology, or an equivalent vendor whose algorithms are independently benchmarked and whose False Accept Rate / False Reject Rate are published). The vendor, algorithm identifier, version, transaction ID and raw similarity score appear in the Chain of Custody section of every report so opposing counsel can independently verify the engine used.

- Daubert / Frye factors — published error rates, peer review, general acceptance, and documented methodology are met by the configured biometric vendor.
3. Digital technology screening layer
A multimodal vision model (Gemini 2.5 Flash, via the Lovable Digital Technology Gateway) produces the qualitative discrepancy checklist — slant, proportions, micro-tremor, pen-lifts, terminal taper, loop formation, rhythm. This is a screening aid that flags features for a human examiner; it is not offered as biometric proof and the report labels it as such.
